Winter 2024 Camps NOW LIVE!!

It is still only May of 2023 but you wanted to know when the Winter 2024 camps were going to be held so here you go…. Below and on the camp schedule page are the public camps we will be hosting and if you are interested in a private group camp please let Mark know. These camps are limited to 10 or 12 people so if you have a good idea of which camp you want to attend feel free to sign up before the deadline. New Fall 2023 European Camps Added, Finally!!

We are so excited to be offering a set of new camp options for the Fall of 2023. Please look at the offerings below and call or email Mark as soon as possible about questions on these camps. We have a limited time to hold spots at the hotels and hope that you can make the time to row in some wonderful places this Fall.

Bled Slovenia - Sept 25-30, 2023 - Bled is a truly iconic rowing destination and one that will be even more spectacular in the Fall Foliage season. FLYER IS LINKED HERE.

Southern France - Oct 3-8, 2023 - The Bordeaux Region of France! Staying in a private Chateau, Rowing from the Garden on the River Lot, eating amazing homemade meals, trying a hand at archery, bike riding, exploring medeival castles, oh and the wine, oh la la, dont forget the wine!! Corgeno Italy and the SilverSkiff Regatta - Oct 31- Nov 6, 2023 - Rowing, Training and RACING camp in northern Italy with the SilverSkiff International Regatta as the final portion of the camp. Training days in Corgeno Italy, just north of Milan, we will stay there for 4 days then travel to Turino for the regatta. Amazing trip for the racers amoung us! Of course all the equipment, logistics, meals, drinks and lodging is included.

New Winter Camps Added!! By Popular Demand!

We have been asked for years to offer a more learn to scull camp and this year we have done just that. Over the weekend of Jan 20-22, 2023 we will be giving those wanting a compact intro to sculling instruction in Florida. This will be perfect for those getting back into rowing after a long break or for those who have wanted to get into sculling for the first time. Plenty of water time and video as well as off water instruction will be given. Coach Ryan Worth will be the head coach for the weekend. Details can be found here

INTRO 2 SCULLING CAMP

We are also offering our first Coastal Rowing specific camp. We have used coastal boats in our camps for years but this year campers will be using the boats from Swift and GlideboatsUSA exclusively during camp. Camp will also venture off of Lake Beresford to the IntraCoastal Waterway and if conditions allow out into the Atlantic Ocean! Great fun for all and again plenty of coaching on and off the water. Anyone wishing to try some coastal rowing should come to this camp. Details can be found here. Camp will be Feb 7-10, 2023 and Coach Ryan Worth will be the head coach for this camp.

Europe 2023!! Croatia, Italy, Switzerland!!!

Our 2023 Spring/Summer European camps are now listed and we are very excited to be returning to Sibenik Croatia in late May and then off to Corgeno Italy!! We visited this wonderful location in 2014 and 2015 and are so thrilled to be returning in Late May of 2023. If you want to get on the top of the list please email Mark.

2023 will also take us to Lucerne Switzerland in early June and then to the Istrian Peninsula of Croatia for a Rowing and Biking tour in mid September and then to Austria for the Rose Regatta in Early Oct 2023.

Private groups can also set up camps in Europe with as few as four rowers or as many as twelve. We have hosted several private groups and all the reviews are over the top! Private coaches, great equipment, incredible locations and personalized itineraries and a great value! Contact Mark for details on any of these offerings.

Winter 2023 Camps are Posted

It is only the first of May but we have been asked to post the Winter 2023 camp schedule. This is now live and we are taking reservations for many camps in January, February and March 2023. If you or your club want to set up a private camp for either sculling, sweep or coastal rowing we are very happy to do this. Specific Learn to Row as well as developmental or race camps can also be designed and scheduled. Our coaches have decades of experience and we can provide you and your group a wonderful schedule including meals and off water experiences as well.

Thanks for your interest and even though some clubs are just getting to Spring Rowing it is not too early to think about scheduling a Winter getaway in Florida!! Call or Email Mark Wilson for more details and see how easy this can be.

Portugal! Again? Yes it is that Good!!

While all of our other Summer 2022 international camps are full we have been asked to add another trip to Avis Portugal for the Fall of 2022. This camp will be similar to our 2021 camp which was a huge success, no crowds, great weather, wonderful water and great meals prepared at the row in, row out resort in Avis Portugal. This camp is designed for people that want to row as well as explore the countryside. Please review the attached flyer and registration form.

Camp is Limited to 8 Scullers but non rowing guests are also encouraged to attend for all the social aspects of the camp and use of the training gym, hiking the grounds or hoping on a bike will build your appetite.

Summer 2022 is Full but we can always do MORE!!

All of the published 2022 camps in Europe are full and we are going to the Netherlands in April and June, then on to Lake Bled later in June and then over to Croatia in September. Currently we do not have a Fall 2022 trip planned after September but Coach Mark would love to make that happen if there is interest in going with a fun group. We have started to do private camps in Europe just like we do from coast to coast in the USA so if your team or group of friends would like to schedule a private camp just about anywhere we can facilitate everything from airport transfers, hotels, equipment, meals, tours, sightseeing excursions, meeting local rowers, and of course expert coaching!! BLED Spectacular is almost full!

We have been told by a multi-repeat camper that we have ‘outdone’ ourselves with this camp!!

In Bled June of 2022 we will not only do a spectacular training camp for 4 days but ALSO have tickets to watch the finals of the Bled International Regatta on our first days in town, AND then get to compete in the EURO Masters Regatta on our last two days!! Amazing, we know and now all we need is YOU to fill this camp.
